‘Manifest’ is OUT NOW

‘Manifest’ is OUT NOW!

At long last & 3 years in the making, I couldn’t be more proud to present Manifest‘. My 2nd full-length album feels more like my first as I strip down my sound to address the basic themes of humanity such as love, loss, death and time with the fresh perspective of an artist reborn.

The best way to experience ‘Manifest’ is in its native environment where you can listen, order an autographed CD, t-shirt & 3 posters all directly from me:

Whereas my debut album of dark, electro-rock dealt with the drama mental illness – ‘Manifest’ is my re-initiation into the life of the living as I finally try to live and love in the light of the world. It’s not easy but armed with my piano, acoustic guitar, and poetry, I’m starting to navigate this complexly beautiful world and have devoted ‘Manifest’ to my first forays into its depths. It’s a more acoustic, melodic driven record that slowly builds in style and complexity…

Of course, Manifest’ is also available through every digital outlet such as iTunes & Spotify if you have such preferences – ‘Manifest’ goes with you.

So much gratitude to all who helped make this record! From the Kickstarter backers who funded it, the fans who cheered me on & the loved ones who stood patiently by as I threw myself into a project that encompassed much of my life.

New Single: ‘If I Could’ Premiere

The opening track & 2nd single to ‘Manifest’ is called ‘If I Could’ and it recently premiered on ‘FourCulture’ –  introduces a drastically different sound to my arsenal using entirely acoustic, folk-based instruments I played entirely and addresses the faulty thinking that starts with the phrase, ‘I’ll be happy when…

Head over to ‘FourCulture’ for the exclusive premiere and their in-depth analysis of the track.

The Expiration Date Music Video

After a year of hard work, I’m proud to present the ‘Expiration Date’ video – a haunting story of love & loss.

It’s the first time I included gay content in my work, despite being an ‘out artist’ for as long as I’ve been creating.

Why? Because it’s the first time I’ve written a song about love.

It’s a same-sex vision that shows we love & lose just like everyone else and when we’re hurt, we cry the same tears too.

Thanks to PureVolume.com for Premiering the video:

HuffPost Article: ‘Love is Not Forever’

(originally posted on Huffington Post)

Love is not forever and neither are you. Forever is make-believe and that’s okay too.

Like every emotion, your love will change. It can become a new love but it will never the be the same. You will not be who you were last year and your lover won’t be who you fell in love with the next.

If this sounds like the dark ramblings of a single man on Valentine’s Day let me correct you: I am in love and in an excellent relationship. I have a boyfriend who treats me like a prince. I am fortunate.

After a break up a few years back, I wrote a song, to sum up the experience of love’s conclusion – it wasn’t about the situation but the feeling it was inevitable, another cycle had run its course.
